We work to preserve those parts of our small town character that mean so much to those of us who live, work, and visit here. Below is a list of significant projects and priorities from our recent past.

		Support Long-Range Planning Play an active role in Master Plan and Harbor Plan public process Support expanded public transit and preservation of rural roads Encourage sound growth management measures

		Conduct Research Fund studies or research when needed. 		Provide Education Hold public forums on topics such as public access to the waterfront, the value of public service and how to engage students in local community issues.

		Promote Low-Impact Economic Development Support job creation in high tech, low-impact enterprises, cottage industries, internet marketing and eco-tourism. Encourage small business incubation center, more office space options and appropriate commercial zoning.
