The SN  Youth Council  is a youth-led volunteer group with ages ranging from middle school through high school. With the assistance of a few of the members of the Staff and Board of Sustainable, the Youth Council operates as a committee of Sustainable Nantucket, developing its own goals and objectives using the mission of Sustainable Nantucket as a guide and measure.  Young members occupy a rotating seat on the SN Board and, in the process, develop leadership skills and an understanding of the rewards and responsibilities of active engagement in the community.
